Question Z3 in snow--how does it ride?

Hi, I'm considering a Z3 (coupe, actually, though i'm sure this applies to either body style). I live in Colorado. I just happen to be in love with the car, but won't buy it if it would be completely stupid to own one where it snows. Anyone know what the ground clearance is? How well (or poorly) would i expect it to perform in the snow with studded snow tires? ANY ONE HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH THIS? PLEASE POST IF YOU DO, I'D REALLY APPRECIATE THE INSIGHT.

THANKS A LOT!!!
Jeff in Boulder, Colorado
