Engine swaps in Australia (CRAP)
Ok Aussie here, wanting to know what is best to drop into a 90 model CRX, living here in the land of the push-rod its hard to get any decent info on engine conversions at all. I wanna keep it naturally aspirated but mod it obviously, Im currently using its original D16.

Well, your D16 is actually a ZC in disguise. Turbocharge it - easy solved
![]() It's that or get custom mounts and drop a B16 or B18 in for 160bhp+ depending on which engine you go for - but IMO, you have a tough little motor straight from the factory and for the cost of dropping a B series engine and tranny in, you could have a potential 200 bhp turbo ZC. BTW - drop past and say hi to the Aussies and Kiwis on Automotive Forums here: http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/f1049/ |
