Digmoto Lite on Jeeps
Folks,
Has anyone used this on a laptop with Jeep (Mine is a 1996)? Also, do you know if it is OK to use just a OBDII to Serial cable like the one linked below (Item #10 down the page)? http://www.digimotosales.com/shop/?s...PassThrough=Y& I want to be sure before I give this a try. I want to be able to drive and record info at the same time... Thanks, Bryan |

Would you plug your lap top into your PCM? Do you plan on getting this? LOL more I look at it the more I want it.. |

Re: Digmoto Lite on Jeeps
I downloaded the free software. The question I have is the cable itself. The cable shows a serial to OBDII interface that could effectively plug right in the same as you would a scan tool. However, some things I read mention something about an "interface" of some kind that is needed too, so I'm confused.
I just don't want to buy more than I need. Bryan |

I think the graphic on this site looks like it will explain better what is going on.

Re: Digmoto Lite on Jeeps
It's to bad you have to use the interface, seems to me you should be able to just use your computer and a cable, or even a Bluetooth.
