lime green in color

I noticed this morning that something lime green in color is leaking from my 1999 silverardo. it's looks like it's coming from the front area and towards the passanger side. I parked it outside in the snow after plowing saturday and the snow was lime green in color in that area. Anybody have any idea??I don't know what would be this color in my fluids.

Re: lime green in color

more than likely it is your antifreeze. check and see if you rantifreeze is low. and also cehck to make sure your antifreeze is still good, if their is a leak make sure it is not from your antifreeze not working properly because that could lead to alot more expensive problems.

Re: lime green in color

You're sure they reservoir is/was full of dexcool, and not the standard green stuff, because there's not much else I know of that is that color under your hood.

Re: lime green in color

It might be the refridgerant for your a/c. Mine leaked out and what I saw was the flouresant dye the shop previously put in to find a leaky condensor.
