01 s-10 xtreme dead

at first it took severaly turns of the key to start,,nothing would happen, then its like somthing made contact and the truck kicked over....now when you put the key in, nada, nothing happens, no power wat so ever..all fuses good, batt just replaced month ago....please help

sounds like a dead short or short to ground, time to get the dmm and check for power
