Hulk

building this for a contest on another board not entirely stock but the suspension is scratch built and its poseable, its gonna pack a BB pontiac and mad ice in the trunk but keep the interior stock with a PE head unit. the best trick will be the folding top

Re: Hulk

You forgot to put the word " INCREDIBLE" in front of the word Hulk. This is going to be a cool high rider, keep up the good work Lownslow, nice to see something extreme once in a while. Respect.

Re: Hulk

Love the model, it's looking good. But I HATE these cars in real life , it stands for everything that is bad for a car. I beleive the only right way to modify a car is to IMPROVE the performance and drivability, it's just hard to beleive that anybody that does this too their 1:1 car knows anything at all about how cars work and perform.

sorry for the rant, I just could not help myself.

Right. I'm sure Lambo doors, body kits, fancy paint, carbon fiber duckbills, carbon fiber lips, side skirts, lime green valve covers, chrome rims, large exhaust tips, clear corners, etc. ALL do wonders for performance and driveability!

There is no right way to modify a car, in real life or in scale modeling.

yeah yeah yeah, I was expecting something like that. That is why I respect the model but not the real car The lambo doors and body kits are fun to build and look at but my real cars don't get treated like that (other than my first 1:1 CRX body kit but that actually improved downforce and performance)
But as far as CF and larger exhausts (not just tips) umm HELOO that DOES improve performance.

Adding 26-up wheels that weigh 100+lbs and skyjacking it is one of theworst things you can do for acclearation and control, and to top it off I have seen some off these morons around here that have caused a few accidents because their unmodified brakes can't bring their tank to a stop soon enough to prevent them slamming into some unexpecting victim. adding that much weight to your wheels REQUIRES more braking, that is all I was saying but DAMN this turned into an off topic rant, my bad.... back to topic

Again I love the color and the quality of the build is coming along nicely, especially the convert. top I would like to see this one done!
To really confuse you guys I have even considered build something with huge wheels like this (but not as lifted) just because building models is a WHOLE different world than building real 1:1 cars.

Good luck!
