There's a red loose cut wire hanging in the bottom, i think its to light up the instrument panel. But i cant find the other wire to connect it to, anyone know?

Check the light intensity knob (well not really a knob).
Do you still have the 240?

Re: Instrument Panel wont light up...

HAHAHA, ok im not that dumb dude, of course i checked it. Doesnt work. I called up the guy that sold it to me, and he said it was the red wire that was cut cuz he had installed a tachometer but then took it out. So i checked the wires down there and i dont see any other wire that needs to be connected. Where is it?

And yeah, i sold the 240. (tears) Now that i drive the teg, you definitely notice the difference between these cars. 240 was faster and more powerful in my opinion, but the teg has more handling, probably cuz of the coilovers though.

Lol, I didn't mean check if it was down, I ment check if it has loose wires. The gauge cluster sometimes goes out in my 94 civic, and it is a bad contact in the switch. So maybe it is for you too, wigle it around or something.
Or the previous owner might have fucked something up, and don't all the tegs have an OEM techometer?

BTW, sorry about the 240, was it because of the ticket?

Re: Instrument Panel wont light up...

yeah i think the previous owner f-d it up. Tegs do have OEM tachometer, but you know some people think theyre bada$$ installing another one. i just downloaded the service manual, so i think i can take the gauge cluster out and figure out where the wire connects to.
And about the 240, the ticket was one of the reasons i had to sell it, another reason is that i needed a good 4-door car, especially since im either gonna be chaperoning for my cousin or have chaperons with me.
