1989 Ford Ranger SE problem

I got the truck 4 days ago and for the past 2 days nothing but starting problems. Now from playing aroud with the thing all day trying to get it to start still wont go.It sparks,Its got gas the injectors dont work.My dad says that its eather the wireing to the injectors or it could be there not enough pressure to open them or theres a possibility that is is the fuel pump.

There is SPARK,all the fuzes are ok,The gas pump works, when i presses on the bleeder on the furl injector gas pissed out. What can it be has anyone ever had this problem ? if i let the car sit for a few hours it starts for a breif few seconds. And once started if i drive somewhere and stop it it dont start till i let it sit for 30min to 45min but today nothing

Your dad is right .Test pressure on pump it has to have enough. pull the codes up to see if that will give you any help. your can find out how to do that on the internet. It could be other thing also like MAP sensor.
