AA WRX wagons

Lowered the blue one a little and swapped on some JADA wheels. They look OK to me. Not too toyish. I was trying to save the brakes off of the AA, but mission failed

Not that much lowered, but you can tell.

Thanks

Re: AA WRX wagons

looks really nice. where have you been? i havn't seen you post in a while. how did you do the rim swap? i'm thinking about putting dubs on my aa. and you got the steering feature? like how do you do all of that. and are those still the aa brakes or jada? you said you tried to save them like did you have to remount a certain way or like did you have to put the jada's on. cuz those brakes don't look like jada.

Re: AA WRX wagons

I'm around. Usually post in modelling section though. I'm always browsing in here. I know I should have taken progress pics hehe..OK. The lowereing was very easy, just cut down some plastic on the shocks so the screw can still thread into them. I couldn't get the AA brakes off of the hubs without brakeing them. The ones on there are JADA. They just don't look like suck I could have had the wheels able to roll, but they wouldn't stay on the axles, so I superglued them down. The front suspension still steers. Thanks guys.

Re: AA WRX wagons

I hear ya G35. But I had 3 WRX, 2 wagons and one sedan. They were starting to look a little dull. They weren't at all that hard to change the rims. Believe me, I checket it out before I decided to mess with it.
