Rear Wiper Out 98 Astro

My rear window wiper is out. I need some trouble shooting advice!! I don't have any diagrams, and if I did, I'm not sure that would help. Help!!!

Check fuses, and does the washer work?
I've found that most wires break at the bends. If the fuse and switch are ok, I'd look at the rear hatch.
i've used a pin to penetrate the insulation and check for voltage.(with a meter) Just tape up the hole so it won't rot in future.
I've had trouble with the "parking switch" on the wiper motor also. It's sort of like a microswitch usually.
But not having fixed one on an Astro, that's about it from me.

if you get current to the back wiper and it still doesnt work try to bang on it with a rubber malet- i used to work at a atuo glass shop and nine times out of ten that would get the motor going again.

I just found that the motor is actually running and the wiper arm is not working. I guess I'll pull it out and try to figure out why.
