New guy 1972 SS

Hey all just found the board. Looks like a great resource for advice. I have a 1972 SS that belonged to my father that passed away last February. Its an older resto and needs some work to bring it up Bad Azz,hope you all can help!

Hey i just joined to, i have a 1969 El camino, its bin my project car for about 2 years now, im doing sortof a restoration/street performance deal on my car. im hopeing to sell it after i graduate for money for college, and of course enjoy it while im in high school

i will most likely regret it, but hey that always leaves room for a mid life crises camaro, did you know you can buy a brand new frame for a 1969 camaro convertable in a crate? its like $13,000 but its still cheaper then a vette..

so when you add up all the stuff from OPG and evry swap meet in the country you have a 1969 camero clone that cost you 100K......ouch that hurts!!! think I'll wait for the Challenger.

That challenger is a pretty nice car, i think id change the wheels on it, im not sure yet though since i havent seen it in person yet.
Ill have that chance this upcomeing weekend though at the chicago auto show
the camaro project may be pricy, but for what i want to do to it, worth it , god i hope i get a job that pays good... lol

Hey hey hey!! haha i just joined too! El caminos are awesome! I got my 73' el cam from my grandfather. Im still in highschool too! Im doin a resto-mod. Im puttin in flowmaster exhaust, edelbrock carb and cams, headers, weatherstripping, tach, tonneau cover, and american racing wheels. Thats all im doin to it now cuz its in bitchen shape.
