Power Lock Drivers Side Rear Sliding Door
The power lock on my 2003 Silhouette's driver's side rear sliding door has ceased to function. I'm thinking it's the lock accuator but was wondering if anyone else out there has encountered this problem.

Re: Power Lock Drivers Side Rear Sliding Door
We recently had the recall work done on the door of our 98. When we got it back the lock wouldn't work. What I found was even though the solenoid would work, it would not move the manual tab on the door. Turns out that they failed to reconnect it after the maintenance. Check to see if the manual tab will lock the door, if it's just loose and floppy chances are that the acuator has come disconnected or some little plastic piece has broken.
Good luck, let us know what you find. 94 |

Re: Power Lock Drivers Side Rear Sliding Door
Turns out that the contacts were just dirty. Didn't think it would be something that simple! Thanks for your help!
