Lightbulb Introduction from a British Impreza owner

Hi all,

I just discovered this forum, and thought I'd introduce myself and some of my work. All images created using the freebie copy of Photoshop 5.0LE that came with my scanner

Enjoy!

nice... i especially like the cabriolets , they look very "real"... as the new body style coupe... the stretch limo looks kinda strange , but still cool... keep up the good work...

Cool stuff man, looks great. Loved the limo and the convertibles! I REALLY had to look at that first one, cause the background looks flawless, so I thought it was a real pic... Did you graft 2 pictures of the same view together (one with a car, one without)?

yeah those convertibles are flawless at least at first glance, look excellent.

id say you took the pic with the car there and another without the car there, and just edited them together. great job.

...and you'd be right, that's exactly what I did. Of course, it's not quite that easy, because there are things that aren't visible in either shot, like much of the interior. A good angle for the photo and some artistry play a part here

The seond photo, the rear view of the ragtop, is actually a composite of three photos - one of the car with all its windows open, one without the car at all, and one of the car with its doors open to reveal as much as possible of the interior.

Thanks for the kind comments, they're much appreciated. My favourite shot is actually the last one - the 2 door STI - because the original photo isn't actually of an STI at all, but a UK300. The spoiler, roofline, wheels, exhaust and badging have all been changed, as well as the 2 door conversion.

Cheers

Andy.

illracer, sorry you think that's a problem. Some things get better with age

SIKCRX, here are a few of the original photos that I was able to dig up:
