welcome! i can tell youre new to all this, but the answer is NO. the reason you ask maybe cos you find the same threads on both, this is because a lot of user on this forum also use G20.net along with others such as SR20.net etc Theyre all different forums run by different people but all have the same thing in common, and that is the G20/primera.

Although this has already been answered, I thought I might shed a little more light.
G20.net did have a sort of agreement with this forum just a few short months ago. For whatever reason they found our facilities to be lacking, and created their own forum run entirely independantly of this one. Just as P11GT pointed out, there are a few popular G20/primera forums and websites out there. It's just a matter of deciding which one fits your lifestyle best. I hope to see you around, though!

Anyone know whats wrong with G20.net or when they will be up and running again!??

They are trying to find another provider to host their site. Could be a few days (possibly longer) before you see that site up and running again.

Wow, haven't been here for the longest time. The real reason G20.net was created because the af G20 forums consisted entirely of "newbie" topics and repeated questions. G20.net was started fresh with people who know what they are talking about
 as for it being down, they are trying to find a new provider because the old one is going out of business.

Let me break it down cuz I know wuz up. It seems like it's been a year since this thread has started, but it's b/c there was a lot of people on the G20 forum in AF basically the G20'ers need a whole site dedicated to the G20. Also there is repeated slow down on this Forum and sometimes just down and not running ,so it was needed.

heck
even the g20.net had growing pains and went down several times since going on their own because of how many people were hitting it at once! I, for one, hope to see them back again soon!

well at first it seemed like g20.net was basically people that new what they were talking about or at least had some idea...but then newbs and newbs and more newbs.....happens everywhere can't avoid it. oh well
Yeh on the message if you went to g20.net said that the bandwith or something or the provider was too expensive and the admins couldn't maintain the costs...so they are looking for a cheaper provider. |
