dropping in new engine

I really want to drop a new engine in my '93 MX6. I've been doing a lot of bodywork now just because it's not my car yet, but I'm buying it off of my parents and I'm nearing 150,000 miles, so I want to drop a new engine in next summer. Has anyone ever done this or have any clue where I can look for a strong modifiable engine? any response is greatly appreciated

go to mx6.com You should get a lkze jspec engine putting out 200hp instead of the 164 you have now.
