Im lookin to get that loud crackling popping sound from my caprice i have true duals no cats n a stock 350 all i have is cheap turbo mufflers i want it loud
on the throttle n quit down when im cruzin any help would be appreciated. |

Take off the tailpipes and exit the mufflers ahead of the rear wheels.

so u mean kinda like nascar style but keep my same turbo mufflers? i was thinkin about throwing on a couple glasspacks or juss let em run straight no mufflers

yeah ok ill give em a try ill juss keep my turbo mufflers n try em out n c hot they sound but ill keep the flowmasters in mind also and yeah the glasspacks are shitty i juss wanted ur input on them thanks for the advice very helpful ill let u know how it works out maaybe ill do it up this weekend what about the flowmaster hush power 2 mufflers any word on them how they are ?

Flowmasters and turndowns in front of the rear axle. I run this on my Nova and it makes my 350 sound like a big block. Also, you can create quite a stir when you cruise around and the sound of your exhaust sets off car alarms. This I know from experience

the turbo mufflers i got are walker turbos i told they guy when i took it in to the muffler shop i wanted it loud and anoying but he put the tail pipes all the way to the back it sounded good after i broke em in but not quit what i was looking for so ill give all of your ideas it cost me 500 bucks to get it done but it was all custom front to back

Just see if you can get the tailpipes off and then stick some turndowns on the mufflers with some muffler clamps. That way you can put the tailpipes back on later if you don't like it. I bet you'll like it though!

I have a thrush turbo on my 86' caprice, no tailpipe. even though its not the 350 it still sounds pretty damn nice
