Appearance Suggestions

I have a 92 Firebird and am looking for some suggestions on how I can make it look better. I am open to any suggestions, interior or exterior mods. I have already made a brake light cover, which didn't turn out too bad. What do you think?
Thanks

I can't see your pictures. However, I can say that you have the last year of the third generation cars. I own a 1989 Firebird Formula with the 350 V8. The cars are beautiful. Don't ethni-size it with putting on aftermarket rims, fur on the dashboard, tail light covers, and/or paint it tic tac orange or something stupid like that. The only thing worth doing is getting an aftermaket high quality stereo system (AC Delco sucks). The cars look awesome the way they are and the way they were meant to be. Keep your car that way and people will appreciate it a lot more.

Here are some REAL tips. If the paint has faded (as mine has) from being outdoors, get it painted to it's original factory specs. Find a repuable pain shop and they should have the code for your paint and be able to get it to the exact factory specs. Next make sure the interior is free from rips or tears. A local place in your area that specializes in interior upolstery can handle that. I can reccommend one in the South Florida area- De Colores. They did my headliner and T-top shades for a total of $35 and it still looks awesome to this day, better than new. Another thing you may want to try is something with your original rims. Road wear over ten years can make them look pretty bad (as mine were after 12 years). There are places that redo them and make them look like new again which will make your car look more like show room condition. I've heard the prices for this aren't cheap, but it's well worth it. Beyond that, stick to performance mods.

Thanks for the tips, it has faded some from the last owner and I've been wanting to get it repainted for some time now. I put an AIWA cd player in with some Rockford speakers which I'm happy with right now. Since everything on the dash and cd player lights up red I decided to put in 2 red neon tubes on the underside of the dash(where they can't be seen) and hooked them up to a switch. It turned out to be a nice mod. Since this thing won't post my pics, check out my site for all the pics and other info. Have you noticed if your headlights point in different places when you switch from brights to lows? I tried adjusting them, but it didn't seem to work. I'll look into getting the rims fixed up, like you said after 10 years of road wear they seem to get chipped up and stuff.
Thanks

It may just be the headlight itself. If the lows work fine and the hi's don't like you said than it's definately the headlight. Cruise by DAP or Autozone and replace them both at the same time. Then you should be all straight.

I know its been a while since I've been on here but I'm back. Yeah, I know a lot more now and the reason for the headlights jumping up and down when i switched between lows and highs was that the one headlight was in upside down. Someone must of not been lookin when they put it in. But the paint is all good now as I used a very fine rubbing compound and as for the rims. Well, they're still a work in progress. I took the liberty to redo them myself, and I got one rim done and said the hell with it till spring. It took me a few days to do one rim by hand, but they results were stunning. It had an almost mirror reflection after it was all sanded and polished, so I can't wait to finish the others. the interior I started to convert to black, but I prolly won't finish that. I just did the door panels and trim along the floor black, turned out quite nice. I took off the windshield decal because it just got gay. Other than the rims and paint and interior nothing else is really new. I would still like to put a 350 in it or buy a third gen Trans Am.
