Angry Revell BMW Alpina Z8

Last night i was lucky enough to spot the all new Revell BMW Alpina Z8 from my LHS, they usually don't stock Revell items, since the price is right, so what the heck, i picked it up right away. I went all excited UNTIL i find that the wheels are NOT scaled to be 20" Alpina wheels!!! (Alpina Z8 in real life comes with staggered 20" wheels with bigger brakes). They are even smaller than the 18" Aoshima wheels when i compare it side by side ... I know Revell just re-packaged the good old BMW Z8 with Alpina decals and new box art and all that, but why NO 20" wheels??... very disappointed...

Re: Revell BMW Alpina Z8

Hi,

this is the typical Revell AG problem: wheels are too small.

They will probaly never learn....
