Pup Stereo Wiring

I have an aftermarket stereo I'm putting into my pup and need some help. The person who owned the truck prior to me cut out out the adapter so I just can't run to an auto store and buy one. Theres about 6 wires and I was wondering if anyone knew the color codes for where they go. Thanks in advance!

Edit: Sorry, its a '89 Pup!

Re: Pup Stereo Wiring

Hello there! I have a 90 pup. I have just done an upgrade from my 2 speakers to 4 and a JVC head unit. Now I didn't personally install mine but my uncle did. He said the the red is always pos and black is neg(of course). He said he hooked up the ground and power wire and then started touchin diff. positive wires together 'til it worked. If this doesn't help you and you still need it I can go cut my wires down from the zip tie and read em out for you. Email me at [email protected] if you need any extra help. Im currently trying to get my Hella's hooked up. I'm getting there....Almost. I ran out of sun light today . Happy PUping.
