Adding a/c to a '96 metro

Has anyone ever added a/c to a metro that didn't already have it? I'm thinking I could get a complete a/c system from the junk yard and install it and save big bucks. I suspect it's already wired for it. The vehicle is a '96 1.0 L, 3 door.
