Will Not Burp!

1995 Sonoma 4x4 SLE

The annoying slurping/gurgling sound in dash is starting to kill me! I've flushed system, replaced cap, raised front end of truck and ran with rad cap off and yet the noise will not go away!
Is there a way to purge out the air right at the location it is stuck, like loosen the hose or something?
Any suggestions!

Re: Will Not Burp!

Loosen up the heater hoses at the firewall with the engine warm and running but not hot and let the coolant squirt out some.
It may help and my not but it will bleed the heater core.
Are you sure it is coolant in the heater core and not the air cond everator making the noise?

Re: Will Not Burp!

How do I know if it's air cond., what should or could I check? Maybe it's that?

I believe it's the coolant though because it does it when I take off from stop and I can hear it gurgling and when I come to a stop also (like it trickles down, gurgling). When I get off hiway and come to stop, I can hear it, sounds like boiling water....GLUG..GLUG!!!.

Re: Will Not Burp!

Try bleeding the heater core and to make sure it is not the air cond just unplug the compresser for a test drive.
Good Luck MT

Re: Will Not Burp!

You did not say what engine and engine code exc. Lot of difference there.
If you are having a repair shop do it have them give you a estimate.
If you are doing it yourself ask parts place how much.

Re: Will Not Burp!

Aw man.
Something does not add up on eng code lean and replacing all injectors.
You need to get a second opinion on that deal.

Re: Will Not Burp!

Drive it a little and retry.
At least you got that check engine light fixed.
Thanks for posting back and letting us know how it is going.
