Silver Audi A8 WIP

Here is a drawing of a Audi A8 that is actually coated in PURE silver. The owner is a very rich guy that is the head of a oil company in India.

Here is the sketch. Let me know if there is any problems. This is by far the most time i have spent on a drawing getting the proportions right. It will be done in colored pencils, enjoy.

lol, some people have waaaay too much money.

As for the drawing, the overall proportions are pretty good. Watch for the angle of your wheels, it looks like they have a bunch of negative camber.

Yeah I noticed that the wheels do have a bad negative chamber. I'll work on that. As for the picture, here it is

I would put money that thats not silver, but rather polished aluminum.

If that car were coated with silver it would weigh an incredible amount.

Indeed.

There once was a photographer who wanted to shoot a calendar for Mercedes-Benz with different Mercedes painted in Chrome. (We once had a contest here with that chrome Mercedes SL)

The photographer tried different paints but none of them had the effect he wanted. He then asked a company who produces stickers for german police cars. Our policecars are colored in silver, with green doors. The silver door is covered with a green sticker-foil. Because this sticker was very suitable for glueing it to a cars shapes, the company made a chrome sticker and put it on the cars.

That A8 guy might saw the calendar and with some bucks he got the sticker foil on his A8.

updates,yep that is a chrome paint finish its been around awhile imagine driving past that with the sun coming of it ,youll head straight into a tree from the glare lol

Strange. I got my picture saved, only 60 kb. I did the same thing as i have been doing fo the last 6 picutres, but for some reason it won't upload my picture. any ideas??

it is real silver, but just plated.... i got the pics by email

Well I got an email with a whole article on his house and car, saying its silver. But i'm not trying to make a big deal out of this, wether its polished aluminum or chrome.

What I am needing help on is tryin to get my updated picture to work, any thoughts or ideas?

haha...if there is a sandstorm, you can polish it again because it's sand coated haha...nice start of the drawing!! It's very hard to make it look like that bling bling!! good luck with it!!!

The picture finally worked. Heres a little update. I've been busy ove rthe weekend with birthday party and all, thats right, its my birthday toda acutally
