Battery light flashing on/off

I have a 2001 and my battery light flashes on and off while driving down the road. I took it to sears and they said it was bad alternator wiring. The battery tested good. Any ideas?:

Loose connection on the Power terminal or wiring to the Alternator. Check your connectors to your battery as well. Dirty, acidic or, corroded....

That's a pretty common problem on most vehicles

wiggled the wires that connect to the alt. seems to have fixed the problem>
