$3500 for my MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE RS----SHOULD I ACCEPT?

Well I got offered $3500 for eclipse...should I accept? It has way more mods thanwhat is listed in my sig!!!

What do ya'll think....Since I bought my eclipse....like 4 months ago, I havent once insured it and I havent even driven as my daily driver...but still I hate to give up my DSM and I just to look at it in the driveway...this is some serious DSM withdrawal

I love my non-turbo machine!

Yea man just hold for someone with a bit more money. I was offered $4k for my near stock RS, so you could definitely get more for yours.

Re: $3500 for my MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE RS----SHOULD I ACCEPT?

You could get more $3500 for it. Hold out for a little more money. I'd ask like $4500-$4800, and take like $4000-$4300 or something.

Re: $3500 for my MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE RS----SHOULD I ACCEPT?

I have had in the paper for $4500 for a week..and I did receive a few calls about it but all of them are pansies, they never follow up on the deal. I mean I bought the car for $1500 put $500 into it (minus the time and alot of it that I put into the car)....so $1500 profit isnt bad. Yall say get $4500 for it, but my car has about 115K miles on it (also on the title the miles are inaccurate because of odometer stopped working) so they are buying a car against my word...so I think $3500 is fair for everyone.

I am sorry to say that I shall not get another DSM...I dont like the look of the 1g's ..sorry... I love the 2g's look, but being 6'4" its kinda hard for me to fit ino them....unless I see a 2g AWD for dirt cheap...otherwise hello mustang v8 (1999-2004 body style)!!! WHoooo hooo!

But until then I shall stick with my trusty Cavalier!!!

Re: $3500 for my MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE RS----SHOULD I ACCEPT?

Holy balls you need to hit post reply ONCE!!! I'd say take the 3.5k for it, that might be all you can get especially considering all the problems.

Re: $3500 for my MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE RS----SHOULD I ACCEPT?

I say wait for a better offer. Im selling my 98 RS (asking) 4,500. From seeing others on carsoup mine is a steal compared to what dealers in MN want for one. Same milage and same options they want around 6-7k. So im almost sure ill get my asking price.

Re: $3500 for my MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE RS----SHOULD I ACCEPT?

The sale price of a car never accounts for any aftermarket modifications, or maintenance put into it over it's lifetime till the moment of sale. The blue book value will remain the same regardless. My opinion is for you to revert back to stock, and sell as many aftermarket parts from your car as possible/feasable. While the parts installed on the car do not increase the value of the car, parted out and individually sold, you can reclaim a lot of your dough.
