Re: bad idle,need help

so you have an sr20 then. Not an sr20 guy but there should be some people on here to help you out. I know AIV adjustment on the KA24 is a common idle prob here in the states.

Im assuming kangaroo juice means his car seems to hop or buck around?? But i would prefer to not really know what kangaroo juice is.....or how he knows what it does lololoololololol.

Re: bad idle,need help

for the misfire thing the only thing i can think of is one of the plugs isnt firing and fuel is being set off by the hot exhuast, you checked ecu, so i have no idea...

Re: bad idle,need help

Sr20det tend to run pretty warm, thats why it is essential to have the right cooling. Sr20s tend to make a "pop" noise a lot, even when you drive normally. Mine does it once in a while, even when im not flooring it, and one of my friends does it too. Now, when i start it up or if im at idle i dont have any popping noise. I really dont know what the prob could be unless something with the ignition is wrong, but it seems like you checked everything. You might want to get a mechanics opinion.

Re: bad idle,need help

well skylindrftr sure does like to get his point across lol. Just kidding with ya man. AF has been having "posting" errors lately......last night it wouldnt even let me post for about 1-2 hours. But i like the new AF design....its different. Change is good.
