Need Stronger Suspension in '94 Jeep GC

I carry firewood in the back of my Jeep GC (several hundred pounds of big logs) and it sags about as low as it can go. Is there a way to make a stronger or more firm rear suspension by adding different shocks or something? I also tow a trailer, but rarely have much tongue weight - just inside cargo weight. I appreciate your feedback.

Im not real sure, but if its possible to add leaf springs to the back then that would probably help out, but don't quote me on that. If someone knows that would be helpful because i also was wondering about that.

Air bag inserts/spring leveling air assists are your best bet...cheap and will keep the rear from sagging when hauling heavy payloads.
On most you can deflate them for a better ride when not loaded.

Grand Cherokees have a full coil suspension, meaning there are no leaf springs, but instead coil springs on all 4 corners of the rig.

There are stock alternatives that might be helpful. Upcountry Suspension is an option on ZJ's (basically taller springs that you can get at the dealership, compared to the non-up country suspension springs). The coils are a bit taller. This is all if you want to stay with stock Mopar components. Other then that you could go looking for some springs with a higher spring rate.

There are many aftermarket suspension systems out there (these are JEEPS of course!) If you want to raise the rig i'd greatly recommend Rubicon Express more then 99.9% of the other companies out there (great quality, decent prices, etc). Other then that, KevinsJeepParts.com will give you more information on suspension lifts for these rigs (being that they are unibody, no body lifts here :P)

Best of luck
