Re: Getting to know our new Community. Part III

My names Darren (Duh). I'm 36 years old and live in the Rochester, NY area. I live here with my wife (34), step-daughter Pam (17), oldest son David (13) and youngest son Dylan (5). We have two dogs that are both 2 years old. One is a Siberian Husky and the other is a Black Lab. Both are a pain in my you know what.

I have only been in NY for one and a half years. We all originally come from Joliet, IL which is just south of Chicago. Needless to say I have spent lots of time at the famous Rt. 66 Speedway. It cost $35 to run your car on TnT and maybe you get 3 runs in (some nights only 2). Now I go to New York International Raceway and get anywhere from 4-10 runs in for $12. I am one happy camper now!

I own a 1999 Firebird Formula. It's white with T-tops, Blue rally bird racing kit, A4, 3.23 gears and 100% bone stock! Don't worry about the noise, I must have an exhaust leak before the muffler And if you're wondering why it takes so much gas to get moving then all I can say is maybe I have a slipping torque converter

My only real hobbies are Fishing/boating on lake Ontario, Drag racing and car forums. I am a member of LS1tech, camaroz28, clubrsx, stangnet, srtforums, ect. I also play alot of texas holdem online but usually just for play money. I got married and have kids so I figure that's enough gambling for one lifetime

Re: Getting to know our new Community. Part III

My name is Bill, 41, from Michigan. I have a 1983 Trans Am that I've had since 1985. The original 5.0 had 250,000 miles when "retired", it now has a crate 350, still running the original Crossfire Injection. I rebuilt the trans myself with a "Mr. Shift" shift correction kit. The body is in need of a little TLC, but is still in decent shape. My every day driver is a 98 Blazer. I used to work as a heavy repair tech at a Buick dealer but I am now a firefighter.
