It is a 4T65E tranny fault code "Maximum Adapt and Long Shift". It is a Class "D" DTC error code meaning non emissions related and no lamps.

The code will disable shift adapts and force maximum line pressure.

A GM TSB has been out for quite a while on this problem and one of the remedies is to replace the pressure control solenoid (PCS).

The PCS solenoid runs around $50.00 by itself. A tranny shop not dealer may charge around $500 for labor. Dealer will probably charge more. This is normally not a DIY job because it requires removal of the tranny side cover to replace any solenoid but to get to that a lot of parts have to be removed around it. The PCS is located on the valve body.
