what's better for turbo??
what would be a better setup? b16 with turbo or b18b with turbo? i thought the ls motor would be better because of the lower compression but i don't know

The LS would be a better motor for boost but dont get me wrong, the B16 boosted is one BAD ASS motor.

lower compression=less power gains given the same amount of boost. it so happens that the B16 loves boost more than the B18 because of it's near perfect rod to stroke ratio. both are great engines to work on, but the extra displacement from the b18 would help out in the long run. besides you get a large amount of torque.

I've turbo'd my 1.6L SOHC and it's freakin awesome. I can't believe the power gains I got from it and the intercooler.
