Sunroof Q..

Ok..you guys know that cover that slides over the sunroof from insde the car? Is there anyway to remove that without taking of the headliner and all that crap. I was fiddling with it today and couldn't really figure it out..i didn't want to break it, but it feels like i can just straight up pull it out lol. Just wondering because i found MOLD ontop of it today..which it explains why it's been smelling funky the past few days haha. please help!

Re: Sunroof Q..

As far as I know there is no way to get the sunroof out without removing the headliner. But it's not a tough job just take your time and get a helper if possible. GL

Re: Sunroof Q..

Think you got to do it from outside. Open your sunroof half way and close the cover. You will have to push the front of the cover down and pull it under the front of the sunroof glass. It has a edge that the sunroof catches so you can't close it and have the sunroof open at the same time. You should see some springs on both sides when you look at it from outside. Pull the spings in and pull up on the cover. There should be another set in the back of the cover as well.

Hope this helps!

I don't understand. what do you mean when you say you have to push the front cover and pull it under? You can't push the cover down because of the edges the sunrooof catchs on. I can't see these springs you're talking about either. I tried pulling it down from the inside but that doesn't seem to give. If you could re-explain this to me that would be GREAT. Pics would be really helpful too if possible. PM me if you want. THANKS A LOT!!
