Driver Door won't close in cold
It's right at 32 degrees here and now my driver door on my 96 jimmy won't stay shut. Has anyone else had this problem? It happened to me before, but it starting working just a few minutes later. I've always had trouble with the door closing all the way and have had to slam it quite a bit.

Re: Driver Door won't close in cold
Be more specific... Is it a latch issue? Door pin and bushings?

Re: Driver Door won't close in cold
Sounds like the latch is getting sticky in the cold. It might have some moisture that is freezing when the temperature drops. Spray some WD-40 on the latch, hinges and locks to displace the moisture and then grease it all up to keep the moisture out.
