Looks like a nice car, not a bad price, for somewhat low miles. Hope there are service records indicating TWO timing belt/water pump replacements by now--they are needed every 60k miles. If not, this is a 'must-do' ASAP, and not that cheap. If you're ok with the automatic trans, go for it. I'm somewhat skeptical of the reported gas mileage, she must have a Very light foot....but not impossible. As always get your shop to give it the once-over.

Not a bad price. I sold my 1990 4-door GS 5-spd a few months back with 128k miles for $1950. You can probably get that for $100-$200 less if you haggle a bit. And make sure to get service records if the owner has them. And have a shop do a diagnostic before you actually buy. It's worth it to know exactly how the car is doing. Good luck.

Re: '91 teg ls for sale, what you think?

Thanks for the replies. While looking at the pictures I just noticed that on the left side of the engine by the coolant hose there is oil. Does that look like a leaking head gasket or something? My friend has a 92 ls special edition 5spd and he pushes it hard sometimes and there is a tiny bit of oil around the same area as in this picture, is that a normal thing for these motors with this many miles? And about the inspection before buying it, the car is 14 miles from me so would I be able to take it to a local shop there like a pepboys and how much does something like that cost?

You'd have to look around to see what shops are near by and ask the owner if she's willing to take time for it. Last time I did a diagnostic on a car I wanted to buy, I paid like $70. But call around and ask.

As far as the oil leak, I'm not sure what it could be but a leaky head gasket could possibly be it. Or maybe it was leaking, got fixed and never cleaned up. Don't know...but a diagnostic will surely tell you.
