fuel door question
Anyone on here have a stainless steel fuel door on their 97 (or other year that uses the same one0? If so, happen to have a link to which door it was you purchased? I cant seem to find one. Maybe Im not searching under the correct term?

Why not just send 1 in to get chrome dipped?
Since there shouldn't be any rocks or anything hitting there, and no engine heat the chrome should last as long as you own the truck |

Id rather just get one of the $25 covers, as I dont know how long Ill be keeping the truck.

i saw a crome plate that sticks on the door. it was on ebay for about 30 bucks.

Unless your truck is already black a very high gloss finish Black paint on the door would probably have the same effect.
Personally I only think that it looks ok on Honda's, and even then I don't really like it. Welding the door on, smothing it out and putting something like this filler cap would look cool though
