When the fuel tank is at least 3/4 full the fuel pointer will momentarily bounce to a lower reading then go back to normal. Below 3/4 all is well. The annoying thing is half the time it goes below the fuel warning point and gives me that DING-DING-DING sometimes 6-8 times a minute. I'm thinking it's the sending unit but am wandering if there's an easy fix. Anybody had any experience with this?

Re: 96 GC Fuel gauge wander
I had this problem on my 96 voyager. It is the fuel pump in the tank and its' intermitten control resistor on the inside, which measures the level of the fuel in the tank and sends the data to the front panel. In my case it fluctuated from empty to full and it drived me crazy. If you can not live with it, an I know how frustrating this problem is, you'll have to change the pump.
