manual tranny shifting problems

clutch doesnt seem to be fully engaging,
almost impossible to get into 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th
Reverse jolts the whole car and grinds reaaaly bad, and the s hifter has to be shoved reaeealy hard to get it in, which takes around 10 shoves, even with the clutch pedal totally depressed. once the shifter is in gear and the clutch pedal is still pushed down all the way, the car will still roll forqward like an automatic which leads me to believe me clutch is not fully engaged. the explorer t hen starts to move forward as a car with a torque converter/auto tranny weould without any brake on. so when im at stop lights if i have the clutch down and the shifter in 2nd my baby almost stalls, in 3rd with the clutch down but the car not moving itll definately stall. my clutch fluid resovoir level has never dropped from full, possible bubble in the system

im guessing my clutch hydraulic fluid needs to be bled and adjusted,
and my tranny fluid might need to be checked/emptied/filled full,
i think my slave cylinder or throwout bearing might be messed up,
not too familiar with RWD tranny's. ive had 7 hondas in a row, RWD ford tranny's arent too familiar to me. seems like my clutch isnt engaging and my lower gear synchros are going out, and it might be low on tranny fluid. whattyall think? 1996 explorer sport 4.0L pushrod 2WD manual tranny

okay still no help i guess i'll try refilling tranny and bleeding clutch fluid, i dont know how many similarities this clutch setup has to the honda ones im used to.

nobody else has had the problem of their clutch no just barely grabbing and first and second gears almost impossible?

well its definitely a clutch problem. if you hav ea lot of miles on the clutch then replacing it is probably not a bad idea. i also like to change the slave whenever i do any clutch job because im right there anyway and its easy enough to change. and be careful with reverse, the blocking ring teeth are pretty weak and get torn up pretty easy.

reverse is no fun to lose i have enough trouble bump starting my car, let alone having to push it in reverse from now on, i better get it fixed. still havent fixed it, first gear is missing in action, seccond is like a 1 out of a million, i even started it in third earlier, thats just too much.
