Gauges

I bought a new gauge face for my 93’ firebird, but when I went to take off the trim around the gauges there was a clip that kept getting stuck on the steering column. Am I doing it wrong? I don’t want to have to take the column apart just to put these gauges in. Please help me!

Re: Gauges

Would you be able to provide a pic. I recently removed one of these from a salvage vehicle while I was taking apart the dash and it just popped right out.
