Exclamation Steering wheel shakes when braking

When braking pretty much at any speed the steering wheel shakes prety bad .
1995 Grand AM SE 3.1

Sounds like you have warped brake rotors to me. Especially if the vibration only happens when you hit the brakes. Change the rotors and pads and the problem should go away.

Sounds like the rotors to me also, sometimes the rotors can be turned or cut but if the shake is that bad replacement is the best option, and like GTPDad states do both the rotors and pads. DO not do one with out the other.
