Angry Cold Starting Probs

Alright, my 94 formula firebird gives headaches when starting and it seems to be getting progresively worse. The problem happens when the car is cold; for example when leaving my job after hours work, in the morning, and basically anytime its been off for a while, but when it is warm like getting of in MC donalds for 10 minutes it starts right up. I hear it crank and it wont turn on, i let go of the key try it again and it starts up beautifully(sometimes i got to turn the key a few times). the only i dea i got left is that my key might be worn out but it looks as if it was in great condition so i doubt it other than that im literatelly clueless. Just for reference i have a new starter, the engine was rebuilt last year, i've cheked vacuum hose, replaced egr valve and solenoid. I would greatly appreciate any ideas.
