painted interior pics and yet a new grille....lol

Got the truck out the other day(slighty raining ) to snap a few pics of what I'm working on. The interior isn't quite finished yet(as you can see in the pics), but should be wrapped up this week. Sorry about all of the reflections on the interior pieces....

Exterior work-Took out my pos tribal grille and went with something alittle more traditional......Also put on my 6.0 emblems on the cowl.

Interior- Pretty much redid everything I had originally done....from the carpet, to the color, gauges,etc.....Wires are for my autometer c2 gauges(I'm still waiting on my nitrous pressure gauge to get here).

Like I said..sorry for all of the reflections, but I'll get some pics when its bright out side and away from trees, etc.

Here you can see the raindrops on the windshield reflecting off of the dash panel.

Temporary nitrous bottle location behind my seat.

Just a look through....

Hopefully the sun will come out sometime this week so I can get some better pics up. I also need to get some of my new nitrous setup as well. The pictures really don't do it justice, but I said I would get some up.

Yeah, if you don't mind my asking, what did the interior paint set you back? I mean, damn, that looks good.

You probably won't believe me if I tell you.... I actually got the paint and paintwork done free. I do alot of performance/ stereo/custom/etc. installation work on the side for people and can usually work out deals with guys that can offer a service to me or who have a little cash to burn. I'm not trying to get rich off of it or anything, but it gives me alittle to do during the slow winter months and I love working on trucks. A buddy of mine works at a body shop his grandfather owns. I did some work for him(nitrous installation, stereo installation, autometer gauges installed) and we worked out a deal for him to prep and paint/clear my interior. He had the paint from an older camaro project he had finished, so it all worked out without any money being exchanged(actually he ended up giving me $20).

We all have a pretty tight friendship between racers/custom guys. I got my cage fabbed and installed for a dream. I have a suspension specialist right down the road that is going to fab up my new 4-link coilover setup. I have a body man that will charge at the very most materials for a complete paint job. I also can pretty much do anything I need to do stereo and performance wise. It's a nice place for a guy to live, eh?

The 6.0 on the hood REALLY looks great! That is a really nice touch!

Not good enough pics to offer a good judgement on the dash paint, but the rest of it looks great! I like the truck. New grill looks clean, and the 6.0 emblems are subtle but effective.

Looks like I've got to get a chick or part of one in my avitar though to keep up...
