Obd2 code P0446

The check engine light came on, the other day, and the Obd2 reader gave me the code P0446. Anyone here knows what this code means, and what could be wrong?

Thanks.

Yves.

Re: Obd2 code P0446

P0446 = "EVAP emission control system vent circuit malfunction" This DTC (diagnostic trouble code) is indicating that the canister purge solenoid is not venting. It may be the solenoid, the vent line to the fuel tank, or a problem with the wiring somewhere between the onboard computer and the solenoid, or the computer itself. The most likely cause is the solenoid. What year, make, model, and what is the 8th character in the vin? (top of dash, driver side, see it through the windshield.) If you give me more information, I can give you more.
