Why does my 96 buick Riv only goes 110?!!!help!!! please answer
I floor it in overdrive and when it reaches 110 it has a limit and slows down to 100 I cant go pass it....before i bought the car the owner could get it over 130....WHy?????? is it the computer chip or something?? how can i bypass it?

I dont think the original owner was telling the truth. 96 to 99 Riviera's cut off at 105 MPH. It is built into the main computer. There are several mod chips out there that give you a extra 5 to 10 MPH, they also increase your HP by 20, If it was me, I dont trust the mod chips, to much can go wrong.
