oil pressure wires?

my oil pressure guage stopped working and i noticed that there are wires hanging down from near the oil filter....i noticed that there are two wires and both have plastic clip things on the ends....i dont know where either go, can someone tell me the exact location for both cause the only one that i can find has the metal piece broken off inside the clip and the other i cant find its metal piece at all....92 tsi all stock

Have you looked around the filter housing for a hole or something similar to fit into it as the wires hanging?

the wire that has the metal piece broken off inside of the wire side is supposed to connect to where the oil filter screws into but the other i cant find a spot for....its making my oil pressure guage always read 0 and never move...

So cut the plastic off, start the car and connect one of the wires to the oil pressure sending unit. If you still don't have pressure, it must be the other wire. What color are these wires you are talking about?

i think theyre black and red....im alittle color blind so the red may be a slightly different color....but the one i cant find a spot for is black...
