How To Adjust Torsion Bars On 4.3l Zr2???

Need to know where the Torsion bar adjusters (nuts) are located, and how to adjust them.. For the front end

Crawl under truck and follow the torsion bars back.You will see the adjusters there(one on each side of the tranny).Then it's as easy as righty tighty and lefty loosey.

remember, never tighten a bar with the full weight load on them, jack the front end up

full weight load on them?? what does this mean, does it need to be put on a hyd lift or something??

it means the adjustment screws are ment to hold the bar, not take the loat of it being jacked up, you will cry all the way to the bank and then dealer if you break one, put a jack under it and take some of the weight off of the front end (a few good pumps after contact is fine) and dont dry to tighten the bar with the wheels on the ground without a jack under it

That is lift the frame up a little, not the wheel

You might want to spray the adjustment bolts with penetrating oil the day before you do the work, and let it soak in. If possible do this a few times. Otherwise you'll probably either brake something or wreck the adjusters head
