can we have here like a "diecast of the month" / "modifier of the month"?

its not a contest thou... but surely it will make this forum more exiting?

wait so diecast of the month would be any diecast that someone went out to buy? like no mods. and modifier of the month would be a car taht someone modded for the month? if so sounds all good. and yes dubsrus would finally be finishing cars! lol.

Seriously, on situations like this, I'd go for it now. Something like this doesn't really need a mod's approval. With the people here already, we would probably have enough to last for quite a while. (both regular and modded)

Hey so we could do it like this. 1 of us would be getting mails with links of hosted photos and a description from the others. You would send the organiser something like this:

Acura integra type R 2001 1:18

-CF hood
-nos tanks
-bodykit
-'n' shit

Then the guy that got emails from you guys hits a new thread like on the 2 day of the month with a contest. In it will be descriptions of our cars. There you write the nick of the one you vote on. Counting posts on the 8 day of the month, Winner done. And no tuner contest.

i think to make it easy... just make a thread w/ a poll on it... so we can vote.

example: (title thread) "JANUARY diecast of the month entry"/ or "JANUARY modified diecast of the month entry..

then in your thread.. make a poll.. so the people who like's your diecast can vote...

so when do we start? FEBRUARY?

so we have2 categories:

01 : "diecast of the month" - unmodded - W/COMPLETE PICTURE OF ALL SIDE plus INTERIOR'S - ENGINE... ETC...

02 : "modifier of the month" - modded - W/COMPLETE PICTURE OF ALL SIDE , INTERIOR - ENGINE plus DESCRIPTION of what you modded....

We have something like that on our polish forum. Every month we had contest for car of the month, then wnet we had 12 models we made Best Model of 2005 year. It's very "exciting" and keeps forum alive.

February sounds good. Gives me enough time to take my models out of the boxes (since I've moved and haven't found a place to put them yet)

As for the polling, what would be the mx number of cars to vote on? I'd say five or six on both categories. That way it won't be too cluttered.
