Bout to buy a 01 LS, I think?
I've been reading and I see that there are quite a bit of problems with them. Is this mostly the v8 or the v6 too? I've found 8 of them in NJ, mostly v8's they are all under $9000 with 80,000 mile average. Is this a deal or a lemon? Any help is appreciated.
Overall: Is the LS worth it for you?

The LS has well documented problems that are easily fixed through the dealer or by the weekend mechanic. The 2000 model was the first year and probably had more problems than other years due to the first year production problems. You're best bet is to get at least a 2001 model or later.
