ABS Light

I looked in the owners manual to see what the ABS light meant and it didn't tell me anything useful, it said there is a problem with the abs system. My light goes on and off, and my brakes squeak really bad sometimes, and sometimes they dont make any noise at all. I know this is pretty vauge and inconsistant but that is what is happening.

Re: ABS Light

When brakes squeek, it usually means the pads are worn, and need to be replaced soon so you don't do any damage to your rotor.. I don't know though, as my car does not have ABS. I don't know if that is much help or not, but meh.

Re: ABS Light

The light typicly means 2 things.....1. add fluid......2. you need new breaks.
