'89 Ranger Power Issue

Okay, here's my problem. I've got a 1989 Ranger 2.3L 5 Speed. I had to replace the freeze plugs on the exhaust side this weekend due to corrosion. After I put it back together I flushed and re filled the cooling system. It was running fine, no problems. Today I tried to start it and no power. I put the key in and I get nothing. No Clicking sound, no warning buzzer, nothing. I have noticed that sometimes the dome light is on and sometimes it is off. If the dome light is on, once I put the key in the ignition and turn it the dome light goes off. If the dome light is on and I turn on the hazard flashers or the headlights, the dome light goes off. I have power at the battery and in the power distribution box under the hood. All of the fuses are good and I have replaced the ignition switch solenoid. I had the battery load tested and it's fine. I've checked everything I can think of, but like I said, no power.

Does that truck have the two wires going in to the lead battery cable positive end at battery? possibly there is something wrong there for the no power, unless the dome light ran battery dead, that dome light sound real strange maybe bad ground some where? good luck
