Re: pulley?

its your smog pump. you can take it out if you dont have any emissions testing. Otherwise go to thirdgen.org and dig around the classifieds for people parting their cars or post in the parts wanted section. There may even be someone here with one. Are you going to put a polyurethane tranny mount in as a replacement?

Re: pulley?

if you could find a speed shop locally you could get one there. Otherwise go to http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/store...0059&langId=-1 and order one. Small stuff like that usually ships pretty quick. Did your guy look at the mount? If you get under the car and gently push up to the transmission and see if the mount is split. The same thing happened to me in my car. Any time you gave it some gas in a low gear there would be a loud thud. Scared the crap out of me. Changing the mount is pretty easy if your familiar with working on cars.

Re: pulley?

that is EXCATLY what mine is doing, at like 40 and under in a low gear or when i torque it it sounds like the tranny just went threw the damn floor. I am going to have the guy look at it to make shure that is what it is, and if so, i will do it myself.

Re: pulley?

different motor same serpentine setup. In that picture the smog pump has been removed. i just wanted to make sure it was the smog pump we were talking about. In that link I gave you there should be the belt size that you would need if you removed the pump. When you remove the pump the pulley comes with it as well as all of the smog lines that clutter up the engine bay.
