I have a 1996 Intrepid. In the past few weeks, on any warm days, the car would not fire. I was able to get it started by plugging it in and waiting a bit. It usually always starts on cold days, but not warm, wet days.
Today, it started fine, I went out and drove it. I turned it off twice during the trip and it restarted with no prblems. Then, I pulled in the driveway and turned the key to off. The keys came out, but the CAR would not TURN OFF at all. I didn't know what was going on. I ended up getting the car to shut off by pulling the ignition fuse under the hood. All the lights were still on, so I pulled the light fuse also, and they reset and turned off. The car will START, but will not turn off at all!!!! Please help!! |

I'm thinking Ignition switch is bad.

I second that opinion, check the switch.
