That is just nasty. That could cause some kind of emotional distress or something. Where is real world tv gone to.....

Hell, nowadays people are filming their whole entire lives for money. It's just part of life now to make some extra cash or make a spoof. You know someone would go this route eventually.

Just from the thread title I figured it'd be something truly lame, but I'd have to say that I side with the couple... This whole reality TV thing has gone too far for its own good. I think it's high time someone smelled the coffee, cause it's brewing.

Just like that Fear Factor show, all for money. People are doing some outrageous things for spotlight and money.

Enough is enough with this reality tv crap. The only reason these shows aire these days is because producers cant think of any ideas for good shows.

yeah, thats sick. I knew someone would eventually end up going that far. MTV and Hard Rock should be sued for more then just 10 million.

Oh whatever! You people are a bunch of wusses. People can sue for anything now. Emotional distress!?! Give me a FUC*ING break. Sue for a something of real value. The people saw a dead body, and because it was fake, they want 10 million? What about when I see a real car crash with three dead kids in it? Where's my money? It's life man. It blows my mind that people can now sue for being shocked. hope MTV wins and puts it all over the TV.

$10m!!!!!!! That is an excessive and ridiculous amount, I would agree with maybe $1000 even $2000, but $10 mil is totally ridiculous, when you consider they never had a heart attack or anything like that.
If only people had a sense of humor and didn't place a price on everything.....

Yea, I realize it was set up. But if this keeps happening, people won't even be able to joke around anymore. It might have been a little excessive, but it is nothing you or I wouldn't do to one of our friends if we had our own fake, mutilated body. lol
If I was the judge, I would adward the couple with a sum of say, one dollar. That should cover everything. I have two lawsuits going right now. Both were my fault. I bumbed two women with my car. I might lie in court, but on this board I don't care. I swear, I hit them doing less than 3 miles an hour. No damage on either car! Now they can barely walk. I am eating up thousands of YOUR dollars. Your tax money. Your paying for my lawsuits, and this couples. This is where all my money is going. 1/3 of my check. 300 dollars a month on my house. It never ends. I will pay it until the day that I die. I believe it has gone too far. I would seriously award the plantiff one dollar. That way, they would be in the hole after all the court costs, and maybe, just maybe, I will have prevented another completely gay lawsuit. |
